Thoughts.....

Photobucket

My Internet is not working on my computer. So I have to quickly blog from my iPad.
No internet...wahhhh.
My sewing machine is being serviced in Pennslyvania where they are having major historic amounts of flooding.... Waaahh.
I am seriously ready to sew after about three weeks of not having my machine.
Iphmmm what else's can go terribly wrong I ask you?
Okay, I am being dramatic.

I beleve that I have a condition known as misophonia. Yes it is awful. It is the hatred of certain noises. Seriously, not kidding. But it is pretty funny. I have always gotten irrupted by odd noises like people crunching ice... Popcorn kernels, chewing... Slurping sends me over the edge. Clanking of forks against teeth... Anyway for me whole life my family has always made fun of me because of this.... Okay it is a bit odd.... My husband , who has become obsessed with reading from his fox news app, on wednesday read about this condition known as misophonia.. Really he started laughing I think. He read it to me. I knew at that moment there were other suffer's in the world who felt the same as I did....hehe. But the sad an unfortunate news about it... NO CURE! They do have support groups for it... Can you imagine that...lol bunch of people sitting around talking about their hatred of sounds... Good grief.

Well, I think I will survive. Hopefully.
Life isn't all that bad.

Hopefully my wifi will get fixed soon and at least the rain has stopped so maybe the rivers will crest and the flooding will stop. Those poor folks. Pray for them.

The end.

Inspiration workshop { Books }

Inspiration Workshop  Books...

I was thinking long and hard about this post.

I would like the answer to be all intellectual ...

but its not. the books that I currently can't put down are...

Doodle Stitching

If you want to embroider this is the book to buy!

and The PAN that can.
which was a gift from my  { amazing } sister.
I took care of her dog Kuma.
She gifted me with this fab cookbook
it is all about dishes to cook in a

9 x 13 pan!

Loving it.

So that is what is on my bookshelf this week.

 the end.

learning....

i am learning...
not to give up, to keep on trying.
I have wanted to learn how to add some digital images
to my photos and blog for months now...
WOW, I did it.
It took me hours and hours of research and
leaving my computer...
and getting upset...
and lots of errors....
but I taught my self to put this washi tape with a staple... onto my photo.
If you look closely at the middle of the photo you can
see a mistake...
oh well... I am just learning.

thoughts...

due to Irene, our vacation went from 10 days  to 4...
We were really blessed and nothing happened but our vacation...
We did not loose power or trees
 or have water damage.

Our puppy, lulu, thinks she is a country  dog.
I love being in the country. Whether it is on a lake or
near a stream, even at a farm. It is just a different life.
no rushing. just simpler and more relaxed.

I was walking on a path that leads to the lake and I kept seeing these little berries.
I love the blue and dark red of the stem.

and why did summer go so quickly this year?

Inspiration workshop { Vintage }

 Vintage.
Nothing says Vintage to me like a canning Jar.
Old, new, clear, blue.

They conjuring up images of woman from a bygone era...
putting up food stuffs to be able to feed their families.
Aprons, tied on.
Little ones by their sides.
canning and storing up food for the winter.
One of my favorite stories growing up, and to read to my girls was, Blueberries for Sal.
The last page of the book she is canning blueberries with her Mother.
I always loved to look at the page and pretend I was right in the kitchen with them.
A table full of canning jars.
hmmm, I guess it is my Mom's fault that I am obsessed with
canning jars.....hehe
Thanks for reading me that story book
over and over again.
