Rustic chic


I have found the wonders of  Burlap. 

Yes, it is a stinky natural cloth made from jute. 

I tried to wash the stink out of it in my washer... It sheds. 

(note to self don't wash burlap in your washing machine)

anyway, I created a lampshade... with some rolled flowers (which I made from a drop cloth) 

I like it. It is  " rustic chic" 

Cheap Cheap.

ok, after seeing this and the valentine's day wreath/heart thingy, i have to say i'm intrigued about your house. i want to see pictures. lots and lots of pictures. and sigh at the loveliness. :)

Congrats on the weight loss! YAY! I feel like I'm going to be more energetic to photograph all these weddings this year too. That makes this worth it. CONGRATS!

This so freakin' adorable! Not sure I could make the little flowers but they are so cute!!! I need this in my living room!
